Thai search aircraft have found the wreckage of a Singapore Airlines (SIA) Learjet 31A which disappeared on 21 July during a routine training flight from Phuket to Ronong in southern Thailand. The aircraft, piloted by a crew of two, was last reported descending at 4,900ft (1,500m) when it disappeared from radar coverage 56km (30nm) south of Ronong. The Learjet was delivered in July 1993 and is one of four operated by SIA's training subsidiary Singapore Flying College.
