Spectrum Astro, of Gilbert, Arizona, has delivered the Deep Space 1 to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the first New Millennium programme mission to be launched in 1998, to demonstrate new technologies, including ion propulsion (Flight International, 8-14 January).
