John Mather has started a two-year appointment at the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) as export promoter for the north-east Asian aviation market. Mather, who has been been seconded from UK aerospace, electronics and control specialist Meggitt, was formerly business director for Asia at British Aerospace.
