UK private equity house Doughty Hanson is preparing to sell aerospace component manufacturer Dunlop Standard Aerospace, netting up to £900 million ($1.61 billion) cash from a corporate buyer, sources say. Doughty Hanson refuses to comment, but is understood to have retained JP Morgan to run the sale. Interested bidders include BBA Group, whose Aviation Systems division already manufactures and maintains landing gear and other aerospace components.
