Cessna chief executive Jack Pelton (left) and Humberto Carbajal, Jacobs managing director, flanked by senior executives, signed a deal at the show today awarding Jacobs the contract to design and build Cessna's second European Citation service facility in Valencia, Spain. Construction will begin in January 2010 and the centre is scheduled to begin operations in 2012. It will include 6,000m2 (64,000ft2) of hangar space. "This prime location will greatly enhance service operations for our European operators," said Pelton.
