Jet Aviation Hong Kong has extended the scope of its Federal Aviation Administration type ratings to include Boeing 737-700/800 and Gulfstream G200 aircraft.

The company said at EBACE today that the G200 approval comes in line with Jet Aviation taking on the operational management of the same type of aircraft in the region.

Nigel Parker, managing director of maintenance, Jet Aviation Hong Kong, says: "The extension of our FAA approval provides clients and operators with more flexibility in the types of aircraft we can accommodate at our Hong Kong operation, or that can be served in other regions by Jet Aviation Hong Kong."

The company has one hangar totalling 9,200m2 (99,000ft2), and offers line maintenance, inspections and defect rectifications as well as aircraft on ground support.
