Eclipse gains Indian, Australian certification for EA500

By John Croft2008-05-05T10:00:00+01:00

Eclipse Aviation has received "certification to register and operate" Eclipse 500 very light jets in India and Australia, allowing the company to export aircraft, receive airworthiness certificates and list the Eclipse 500 on foreign registries.

"These accomplishments mark the first of many worldwide Eclipse 500 certifications," says Vern Raburn, Eclipse Aviation president and chief executive. "We are experiencing a tremendous amount of interest for the Eclipse 500 outside the USA, and these certifications in India and Australia position us to meet the strong demand for this innovative aircraft in these countries."
