Phoenix, Arizona-based Evergreen Maintenance Center (EMC) has expanded its support capabilities to include Airbus A320 family aircraft.

The company has so far provided airframe maintenance up to overhaul level for Airbus A300 and A310 aircraft as well as Boeing, McDonnell Douglas and certain Embraer types.

Given the European narrowbody's fleet size, it was an "important step" to invest in training, tools and technical data for A318, A319, A320 and A321 aircraft, said EMC chief executive Hal Heule.

He added that this was part of the company's plan to expand its services by 20% over the next 12 months.
