A deal to upgrade Turkish air force Northrop F-5s has fallen through. Turkey has decided not to proceed with a Triton Systems plan to sell some of its F-5s to pay for upgrading of others. Washington DC-based Triton says that the programme is officially on hold, but Aerospace division president Jim Szabo confirms that the deal "...has fallen through".
