FAA fines Lone Star

Fort Worth, Texas-based Lone Star Airlines has been fined $375,000 by the US Federal Aviation Administration for carrying a cardboard box containing flammable fuel-tank sealant. Rules on transporting hazardous materials were tightened after the May 1996 ValuJet crash.
