Aviation parts supplier AJ Walter has this month moved back into the US market a decade after selling its operations there. The office in Cincinnati is the UK company's 43rd international sales outlet.
The current owners sold the repair and sales outlets in Florida and Texas after buying the business from conglomerate Inchcape in 1993.
The move has been prompted by the increase in the Airbus fleet in the USA, says director Christopher Whiteside. "With the success of airlines like JetBlue, it made sense to get back into the market," he says.
