Innovative Solutions & Support (Hall 3, B17) has upgraded its avionics programme for the Pilatus PC-12 single engine business turboprop. IS&S says it includes a significant new sales channel and enhanced features for current and future owners.
IS&S says a central part to its PC-12 programme is its new partnership with Finnoff Aviation, which will serve as an independent sales agent for the IS&S/IP flat panel display system.
“The Pilatus PC-12 is the most functional, versatile and economic aircraft on the market,” says Chris Finnoff of Finnoff Aviation.
Key enhancements include a single-sided cockpit option which according to IS&S offers customers a single-side Cockpit/IP retrofit as a low cost alternative, with the option of complementing the full display later.
Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) programming is currently in development and will be ready by the fourth quarter of this year. It can be implemented on both full and single Cockpit/IP suites. And group Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) certification and will allow users the opportunity to access the more fuel-efficient RVSM airspace above 29,000ft.
“We’re very excited to reveal these new offerings and enhancements to our PC-12 customers, partner and prospects,” says Ray Wilson, chief executive of IS&S.
“We are now able to reach an entirely new potential customer base with the help of Finnoff Aviation, present new options in the single-side cockpit, and deliver the most advanced technology with WAAS programming and RVSM certification to all our customers. We look forward to working closely with Finnoff and continuing to build our PC-12 programme with additional benefits in the future.”
