Farnborough and Paris may bring in more people, but no place on Earth has more active aircraft than Oshkosh, Wisconsin during AirVenture, which runs from July 28-August 3.
At least 10,000 aircraft will be at the show, and the home-built aircraft enthusiasts who founded the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will make the new ATC tower the busiest anywhere. Meanwhile growing numbers of business, transport and space vehicles rotate through the famous Aeroshell square at the show centre.
"It has been said that if an aircraft has flown, is flying or will fly, it will eventually make it to Oshkosh," says Tom Poberezny, EAA president and AirVenture chairman.
Flight Daily News will be distributed on the grounds for the first time, covering the ever-expanding atmosphere of business and innovation that made Oshkosh the launch site for the Hondajet and the only public stop for SpaceShipOne.
