DUBAI
Federal Express (FedEx) is continuing its expansion drive in China with the formation of a joint venture with Da Tian W Air Service Corporation to provide express delivery services.
FedEx says the joint venture company , Federal Express - DTW, based in Beijing, provides "fast, time-definite and reliable express delivery service."
It adds that there are plans to establish branch offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen by the end of next year and offices in 100 more Chinese cities by 2005.
FedEx serves China through an Anchorage-Tokyo-Beijing-Shanghai-Shenzhen-Subic Bay routing.
