Latin America's civil aviation sector is expected to rebound after a disastrous three-year slump, but Airbus and Boeing analysts differ on the scale of the recovery. Boeing shows a 7.2% average annual growth curve over the next 20 years, and regional demand for about 1,900 jets. Airbus is projecting a 5.3% yearly passenger traffic improvement and demand for only 1,300 aircraft.
