FMS/GPS ready
Rockwell-Collins has completed certification flight-testing of its FMS-4200 flight-management system on the Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet. The system enables satellite-based non-precision approaches when coupled to Collins' GPS-4000 sensor. The GPS-4000 has been certificated in the Saab 2000, which is equipped with Collins' FMS-4100.
