Focus on the missile threat

I believe it is important to focus immediately on the threat from shoulder-launched missiles (Flight International, 10-16 December 2002). I said two years ago, after the failed attempt by a violent intruder to enter the flightdeck on a British Airways flight from Nairobi, that flightdecks must be locked. Unfortunately, it passed with no further attention - until 11 September.
