Leasing industry veteran Harry Forsythe has been appointed as Asia Aviation Capital’s deputy chief executive and chief commercial officer from 1 November.

Prior to his appointment at the AirAsia leasing unit, Forsythe was managing director of leasing advisory firm dotAero. He also previously held senior marketing roles at Macquarie AirFinance and AWAS.

“The opportunities for commercial growth that exist for AAC are great and I am eager to develop effective strategies to grow the business," says Forsythe.

His appointment follows AAC’s naming of former GECAS executive Stephane Daillencourt as CEO in September, while former Standard Chartered executive Simon Perkins took up the post of chief financial officer in October.
