Diamond Aircraft hopes to fly a four-seat derivative of its popular Katana DA20 "within 36 months", says the Canadian-based company. A second line is already being built to meet demand at the London, Ontario factory. The company says that it has around 280 orders, and production for the rest of the year is sold out. Output is around one a day, and there is a "12-16-week waiting time for new aircraft".
