The Gulfstream G150 business jet is on track to have its first flight in May 2005, said Moshe Keret, president of Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI), on at the 30 August roll-out for the 100th G200.

According to Joseph Lombardo, Gulfstream chief operating officer, the company has received orders for the G150, in addition to the 50 booked by NetJets. The fractional ownership operator also has 50 options for the new executive jet.

The 100th super mid-size G200 is set to be delivered to NetJets later this year. Since 2001, when G200 marketing company Galaxy Aerospace was purchased by General Dynamics, Gulfstream's parent company, it had delivered 67 outfitted G200s.

The company says the aircraft is achieving a dispatch reliability rate in excess of 99%. G200s are manufactured in Tel Aviv and flown to Dallas for completion.
