Garmin International has introduced a hand-held portable navigator with a colour display, the GPSMAP 295. The system measures only 80mm (3.2in) high, 170mm wide, 65mm deep, and weighs 0.7kg (1.6lb), with six AA alkaline batteries. The GPSMAP 295 also features a variety of Jeppesen-supplied databases.
