GEC purchase

US-based GEC-Marconi Systems is to buy defence-electronics company Hazeltine from parent ESCO Electronics for $110 million. Greenlawn, New Jersey-based Hazeltine makes identification systems, airborne displays, acoustic countermeasures and communications systems.
