Bombardier has received type approval from the Japanese civil aviation authorities for its Global Express ultra long-range business jet. The certification body has on order two Global Express aircraft equipped for flight inspection and airways calibration. Japanese sales of business aircraft are hindered by the lack of slots at Tokyo Narita airport.
