Bombardier has added new business jet charter company Global Wings to its Flexjet Asia-Pacific charter network. Japan-based Global Wings plans to begin offering charters in the next quarter with two Bombardier Learjet 45XRs, to be operated by Air China (Flight International, 24 February-1 March).

The aircraft will be based in China and offer domestic services within China and international services within Asia. Global Wings becomes the third Flexjet operator in China, joining Shandong Airlines subsidiary Rainbow Jet and Macau-based Jet Asia. The programme, which independently markets charter services throughout Asia and distributes business to its affiliates based on aircraft availability, also includes Australia-based ExecuJet and Philippines-based Subic International Air Charter and Singapore-based Pacific Flight Services.
