Gulfstream is to close one of its six completion centres at FortWorth Alliance airport in Texas, acquired when it bought Galaxy Aerospace in June last year.
Most of the 355 employees at the centre will be laid off. Completion of the Gulfstream 200 (formerly Galaxy) super mid-size business jet will relocate to the company's Dallas Love Field, Texas, centre this month. Gulfstream 100 (formerly Astra SPX) completions will continue to be performed at Duncan Aviation in Lincoln, Nebraska.
