Gulfstream's record GV flight from Johannesburg, South Africa, to the Philippine capital, Manila, last November has been certified by the governing agencies for aviation world records, the National Aeronautic Association and Federation Aéronautique Internationale. A fully equipped GV set two world records when it completed the "first ever" non-stop overwater flight across 11,650km (6,296nm), in 13h 39min. Savannah, Georgia-based Gulfstream has clocked up 57 national and world records with its ultra-long-range business jet.
