Hefty helicopter
EH Industries has demonstrated an overweight capability with the EH101 of 900kg above the 14,600kg maximum take-off weight, enabling extended range search and rescue missions of almost 2,000km (1,100nm) with auxiliary internal fuel tanks. An emergency evacuation capability with 55 passengers in the cabin has also been demonstrated.
