The UK Government has made a three-year Framework Agreement with two UK helicopter dealerships to supply role-equipped helicopters to police forces and agencies throughout the nation. McAlpine Helicopters is offering the Eurocopter EC135 and Sloane Helicopters the Agusta A109 Power. MD Helicopters' subsidiary Police Aviation Services and Bell Textron distributor Alan Mann have also tendered for the Framework Agreement for their respective MD Explorer and Bell 427 twins. A decision is expected in July.
