Honeywell flight tests

Honeywell says its automatic flight control system has performed well in initial flight tests in Sino-Swearingen's proof-of-concept SJ30-2 business jet. Risk-reduction testing has included evaluation of the autopilot's secondary-surface yaw damper and rudder bias subsystem. The first certification-test SJ30 is to fly in early 2000.
