Hunter UAV makes live warhead test drop

TRW completed the first test drop of two Brilliant Anti-Tank (BAT) weapons with live warheads from a Hunter unmanned air vehicle (UAV) last week. The UAV fired the missiles during a flight over the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico and two targets, both vehicles, were hit. The BAT weapons were developed by Northrop Grumman, which is hoping to complete its acquisition of TRW by year-end.
