International Lease Finance (ILFC) expects to announce its order for 20 Boeing 787s at next month’s Dubai air show. The firm commitment for Boeing’s new widebody twin will comprise a mix of long-haul -8s and stretched -9s, says ILFC chairman and chief executive Steven Udvar-Hazy. The deal also includes rolling options on a further four aircraft, he adds. ILFC will take delivery of its first 787 in January 2010.
