Richard Forson has started work in Doha as general manager finance administration for Qatar Airways. He was formerly the chief financial officer at South African Airways.
Björn Näf, former executive vice-president prod- uct and services and chief executive designate of Swiss Express, is leaving Swiss to take on a "new career challenge". N„f was appointed head of Swiss Express, the carrier's proposed regional airline subsidiary, last May, but this project was abandoned after a deal with pilots unions.
Overnight cargo operator Dallas-based Kitty Hawk has appointed Randy Leiser as vice-president and chief financial officer. Leiser replaces J Drew Keith, who served in this role for four years. Leiser comes to Kitty Hawk after a 20-month assignment at Mesa Air Group where he served in various senior financial advisory roles. Before that, Leiser held various executive finance positions.
American Eagle has named Jon Snook as senior vice-president of customer service, where he will be responsible for airport operations and flight attendants.
Korean correction
The new chief operating officer of Korean Airlines is Lee Jong Hee, and not Lee Joong Hee as stated in the February issue of Airline Business.
