The Aviation Authority of Thailand is under fire from a US consortium, led by TAMS Consultants, which claims it was awarded the contract to design the terminal for Bangkok's new international airport for Baht970 million ($40 million), only to have the price dropped to Baht640 million. An Anglo-French group, led by Aéroports de Paris, has also complained about the process and is still fighting the US bid.
