Private equity firm Indigo Partners has finalised an order for 430 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, which will be operated by four low-cost carriers affiliated with Indigo.

The order, first announced at the Dubai air show in November, comprises 274 A320neos and 156 A321neos. The deal is worth $49.5 billion at list prices.

Indigo has not selected engines for the aircraft.

The 430 aircraft will be delivered to Hungary's Wizz Air (72 A320neos and 74 A321neos), Denver-based Frontier Airlines (100 A320neos and 34 A321neos), Chile's JetSMART (56 A320neos and 14 A321neos), and Mexico's Volaris (46 A320neos and 34 A321neos).

Indigo owns Frontier and JetSMART, and is an investor in Wizz Air and Volaris.
