Israel has confirmed its commitment to investing in the Asian aerospace market.
Israeli ambassador Daniel Megido says the current economic crisis will not prevent development in the region or Israel's involvement in the market. He was speaking yesterday at the official ribbon-cutting opening of the Israeli Pavilion by Rear Admiral Teo Chee Hean, Singapore's second minister for defence and minister for education.
Teo acknowledged Israel as a strong supporter of Singapore and talked of the uniqueness of its defence industries.
Led by Major General Yosi Ben Hanan, director of exports for the Israeli Ministry of Defence, he then inspected the Pavilion in Hall A which includes displays of armaments and electro-optic products from a number of companies.
