Japan Airlines (JAL) has disclosed that it is cutting another international route as part of its restructuring effort.

The Oneworld carrier "will withdraw its once-daily service on the international route between Osaka Kansai and Dalian from October 25".

JAL adds, it is progressing with its restructuring efforts by reviewing its overall network coverage.

The airline will continue to serve Dalian in China from Tokyo Narita, it says.

JAL has been losing money and is working to turn its business around by cutting costs, exiting unprofitable routes and raising cash.

It is reportedly in talks to sell an equity stake to either American Airlines and Delta Air Lines and has also been speaking to the Japanese Governments about the airline's finances.
