JetBlue Airways and MRO provider Barfield have extended an agreement under which Barfield will provide JetBlue with component repair on a flight-hour basis, Barfield announces.
The deal will also see Barfield provide engineering and logistics services in support of JetBlue’s fleet of Airbus narrowbodies, adds Barfield.
The deal, announced ahead of the MRO Americas conference in Dallas, extends an existing 10-year business relationship between Barfield and New York-based JetBlue.
Barfield, which has offices in Louisville, Miami and Phoenix, was purchased by Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance in 2014.
