Korean connection
South Korea's Hyundai Electronics has applied to launch 12 communications satellites under the 48-spacecraft Loral/Qualcomm Globalstar programme. Hyundai originally planned to build just one satellite. The 12 Globalstar satellites would be built in South Korea using Loral Technology.
