L-3 wins FDR deal
American Airlines has selected L-3 Communications' Fairchild cockpit voice and flight data recorders (FDRs) for 134 Boeing aircraft on order. FA2100 solid-state recorders will also replace existing FDRs in more than 650 in service aircraft.
