The landing gear control system for Raytheon's new Hawker Horizon business jet is to be made by Normalair-Garrett (NGL).

The British Yeovil-based firm won the work from Messier-Dowty which is supplying the entire landing gear system for the aircraft.

A subsidiary of GKN Westland Technologies, NGL is also supplying Messier-Dowty with hydraulic components for the Global Express, Canadair Regional Jet, CL-604 and Dash 8-300 aircraft
