The first EADS Socata TBM 700C2 single turboprop to operate in South America has begun operations with Brazil-based sugar company Usina Coruripe, following the award of Brazilian DAC certification. The aircraft is being used for corporate transport between the company's headquarters in Coruripe and distant sites at Campo Florida and Iturama. Meanwhile, ABC Taxi Aereo, based in Belo Horizonte and Uberlandia, has been appointed the first TBM 700 service centre in the region.
