French transatlantic all-premium carrier L'Avion is to introduce its second aircraft into service on 20 January, enabling it to double frequency on its Paris Orly-Newark route. The Boeing 757-200 will, like L'Avion's current 757, be configured with 90 seats. The carrier started services one year ago, has transported 34,000 passengers and claims an average load factor of 79% for December. L'Avion chief Marc Rochet says the airline has had a "very successful" first year and states: "With the addition of our second aircraft we are pleased to be able to provide our valued customers with increased flexibility." The carrier will introduce a twice-daily service initially on two days of the week and add further frequencies during the summer.
