Looking at the priorities
Sir - I was surprised at the substantial coverage of the IPTN N250 project in the Indonesian air show supplement (Flight International, 19-25 June, P17).
I have lived, and flown in, Indonesia for two years and believe it to be a country still in a developing phase. Matters such as education, infrastructure and decent health care are more important than such a prestige project for the country.
I feel sorry for Indonesians, unable to protest against such a money-wasting venture and who will pay the price later in the form of an even bigger foreign debt.
