Lucas wins 609 work

The contract to design and manufacture DC electrical power systems for the Bell 609 civil tiltrotor has gone to Lucas Aerospace. Each aircraft will require one generator, plus controls, per engine. The UK company is also to supply flexible drive couplings for the 609.
