Lufthansa Backs Shannon

Shannon Aerospace shareholder Lufthansa Technik, has signed a contract with the Irish maintenance company worth IP50 million ($80 million) over the next six years. Shannon will carry out heavy airframe overhaul on the German airline's Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s. Shannon is bidding for similar agreements with other airlines.
