Germany's Lufthansa Group has posted an operating profit of €876 million ($1.2 billion) for the full-year 2010.

Preliminary financial information from the company shows that it made a net profit of €1.1 billion, compared to a restated net loss of €34 million in 2009.

The airline group is proposing a dividend of 60 cents per share for 2010 "on the basis of this gratifying result".

Lufthansa will release full details of its 2010 financial performance on 17 March.
