Lufthansa is to operate a 48-seat Boeing Business Jet on business class-only services between Dusseldorf and New York Newark. Geneva-based VIP and executive charter company PrivatAir will operate the aircraft on six flights a week from 17 June. The service replaces a flight operated with a mixed cabin Airbus A340, which was axed in October. The move is the first time Lufthansa has offered a pure premium cabin service but the airline says there are no plans to extend this product.
