Marconi communicate order

British defence company GEC-Marconi has won an order worth more than £7 million ($10 million) for communications equipment for the RAF's Chinook helicopters. The order, from the helicopters division of Boeing, is for VHF/AM and VHF/FM transmitter receivers; TACANs and automatic direction finders. Deliveries are scheduled for 1996-98.
