Protests and hostage-taking by angry farmers have not altered the decision to site Mexico City's new airport at Texcoco. A day after the stand-off ended in mid-July, President Vicente Fox agreed to assess other possible sites. But transport secretary Pedro Cerisola has since affirmed that no other locations are being considered.
