The Australian Department of Defence has unveiled revised plans for its proposed acquisition of a new medium-range surface-to-air missile system under the renamed Joint Project 117. The project, formerly Land 117, is the subject of a market survey process aimed at providing guidance on costs and system capabilities before funding approval is sought in 2000.
